Prior to starting that study; I would recommend reading what Jesus said in Matt. 24, particularly His comment in verse 15!
I have used this as a fulcrum base for many years; and any recorded comment by Christ Jesus is as reliable a start as is possible.
Also to be noted is verse 36; which is absolute!
See also Dan.12:4, as ”the time of the end” is going to release much new information and understanding!
However; as a rough time guide, IMO, Israel can be used as a “Midnight Clock”; as Almighty God is in action in increasing frequency, as the time towards their “culminations” shown in prophecy get closer!
At a point in Time in the near future, (future here defined as 2–50 years), Israel is to enter what is called “Jacobs trouble”, which was announced by Jacob on his deathbed, but they shall be saved from it, (Isa.2:12); in the Day of the Lord; Rev.1:10!
